On midnight of Sunday, 20th December, Wales entered a nation-wide lockdown, with the Welsh Government bringing forward their lockdown plans which were originally in place to take us into Alert Level Four beginning on 28th December. Plans now are restricted to all but Christmas Day. The advice of the Welsh Government is to “stay at home” for all but essential reasons.

Places of Worship are counted as an essential reason. During the lockdown period, the Cathedral will remain open. Please consult the newsletter and social media for up-to-date information. All Masses and Services will continue to be live-streamed through the Cathedral website.
