Last week, Divine Renovation posted a message on their Facebook Page, which caught my attention. The post was an invitation to spend twelve hours in intercessory prayer, praying for the priests of our diocese. It reads:

“On February 1st, our team will spend 12 hours in intercessory prayer, praying by name for the priests that we’ve been blessed to travel with on the road to parish renewal. During this time, we invite you to do the same for your priest and your bishop”.

The Cathedral will be spiritually united with the Divine Renovation team and will dedicated the day to pray for the priests of our Archdiocese on Monday, 1st February 2020. There will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament throughout the day, beginning after the 7:30am Mass. Please be aware that, due to a limited number of stewards available throughout the day, the time of Adoration will be live-streamed for the whole thing, and will be open to the public only during certain times, as is noted below.

The schedule for the day (* = open to the public | ± = Live-streamed only):

7:30am *      Holy Mass followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

8:00am *      Morning Prayer

8:30am ±      Doors close. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament continues on live-streamed only

11:00am *    Cathedral Doors reopen

11:30am *    Holy Rosary (Joyful)

12:30pm *    Benediction & Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament

12:45pm *    Holy Mass

1:20pm *      Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, open to the public until 3:00pm

3:00pm ±      Doors close. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament continues on live-stream only.

4:00pm ±      Holy Rosary (Luminous)

5:00pm ±      Solemn Evening Prayer

6:30pm ±      Holy Hour of Intercession, followed by Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament
